I apologize for the lack of posts this week. It’s been a busy couple of weeks in my life and in the life of our church. But, here is the smorgasbord of this week:
Be Comfortable With Rejection. “No one likes to be rejected, to take a chance, to put in huge effort only to be rebuffed. But if you want to succeed at anything in life, you have to put yourself forward. You have to take the chance that you’ll be rejected. There’s no choice. The alternative is to be 100% certain you’ll never realize your dreams.”
How to see the terrifying things Google knows about you. This is a good way to figure out how you’ve been spending your time, and possibly your purity.
Costco Food Courts. “After several readers expressed their regard for Costco’s hot dogs and pizza, we took a trip to the retail giant’s Brooklyn location to discover all its revered food-court glories — and it totally exceeded our expectations.” Agreed. I don’t like to shop. At all. But I love to eat. Costco is amazing.
When John Piper Invites You to Guacamole. This is a humorous article from Tim Challies about using technology for good purposes for the glory of God. I would pay to see the scene he writes about in the last paragraph concerning Alistair Begg.
100 Dancing Drones Set World Record. This is just cool.
